Finally Bitten by the Blog Bug

The world of blogging has caught my curiosity. People say that blogging is a form of self-expression. It’s like therapy because it makes people feel better. They put into writing their unexpressed feelings. It’s like a diary minus the secrets. Girl stuff!!! Maybe this is the reason I wasn’t bitten by the blog bug long before. I thought this writing stuff is for girls and for the weak-hearted.
Back in college, I thought that this activity is just pure nonsense. It’s a waste of my precious time. I can’t blame myself for thinking like this. It was college. There are a lot of more interesting things to be done like hanging out, drinking booze, going out on dates, playing football, and many more. I don’t like to see myself sitting down, facing the computer, and writing those blogs. Geek stuff!!! Maybe this is the reason I wasn’t bitten by the blog bug back in college. I thought this writing stuff is for light saber-wielding and elf-speaking mortals.
After college, I had a 3-month hiatus at home. It was a time in my life in which my productivity rating was zero. I did watch some fun shows on TV and Facebook-ed the rest of the day. I didn’t really think of blogging or writing. Compositions are things of the past. What happens in college, stays in college. Then, I got a job. I spent the night working and the day sleeping. Writing? Bummers!!! Maybe this is the reason I wasn’t bitten by the blog bug at work. I thought this writing stuff is for people who can’t find jobs so they spend their time writing their unexpressed frustrations.
I realized that I was wrong.
I am after all a weak-hearted, light saber-wielding bummer.
